Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions with 99.8% accuracy
- Assist in month-end closing procedures and reconciliation activities
- Prepare financial statements and supporting documentation for audits
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial record systems
- Support tax preparation and compliance documentation processes
- Collaborate with cross-department teams on financial reporting initiatives
- Participate in quarterly budget variance analysis sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of professional accounting internship or experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables required)
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to numerical precision
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Valid driver's license for occasional client site visits
