Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for internal stakeholders
- Support accounts payable/receivable functions and transaction processing
- Contribute to budget forecasting and variance analysis initiatives
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (QuickBooks/Oracle)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting projects
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal control procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookup, pivot tables)
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
