Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Support tax preparation activities and compliance documentation
- Process accounts payable/receivable and maintain general ledger accuracy
- Participate in internal audits and control assessments
- Analyze financial data using Excel and accounting software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and accounting cycles
- Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Certification progress (e.g., CPA track) preferred
