Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Support accounts payable/receivable processing and bank statement reconciliations
- Prepare financial reports and documentation for internal audits
- Contribute to budget preparation and variance analysis
- Maintain accurate financial records in accounting software systems
- Collaborate with tax teams on quarterly filings and documentation
- Participate in process improvement initiatives for financial workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates welcome)
- 0-2 years of accounting experience or relevant internship
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with intermediate formula knowledge
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and financial regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
