Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for diverse client portfolios
- Assist in quarterly and annual audit processes including documentation and reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and bank reconciliations
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and supporting documentation
- Support tax preparation processes for corporate and non-profit entities
- Implement internal controls to ensure compliance with federal regulations
- Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0-2 years of professional accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Active CPA candidate or willingness to pursue certification
