Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by compiling necessary data.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Maintain and update the general ledger and fixed asset registers.
- Assist external auditors during annual reviews and provide requested documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- 0-2 years of relevant experience (internship experience is highly valued).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage).
- Strong analytical skills and a high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States.
