Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily operation of the accounting department, including data entry and record maintenance.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and assist in month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Support the audit process by providing requested documentation and explanations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and financial statements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (0-2 years of experience).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect errors in data.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel highly preferred.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
