Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation
- Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
- Support tax compliance processes including sales tax filings and payroll tax returns
- Conduct bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks and accounting software
- Participate in client meetings and maintain organized financial documentation
- Contribute to internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Learn industry-specific accounting practices under senior supervision
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates welcome)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
