Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions with meticulous attention to detail
- Assist with monthly and quarterly financial statement preparation
- Support general ledger maintenance and account reconciliations
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes under guidance
- Perform data entry and maintain organized digital filing systems
- Collaborate with senior accountants on audit preparation tasks
- Learn and apply QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for financial analysis
- Adhere to GAAP standards and company compliance protocols
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data sorting)
- Strong numerical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in financial matters
- Willingness to pursue CPA/CMA certification with company support
- Effective communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
