Responsibilities
- Prepare and reconcile financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
- Perform account reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger entries
- Support tax preparation activities including data entry and documentation assembly
- Process payroll transactions and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) for efficient record management
- Collaborate with audit teams during external examinations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Familiarity with GAAP principles and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Proactive problem-solving approach and adaptability
- CPA exam candidates or recent graduates strongly encouraged
