Responsibilities
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain financial records using QuickBooks and Excel
- Assist with month-end closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for small business clients
- Support payroll processing and tax documentation preparation
- Conduct accounts payable/receivable management and bank reconciliations
- Collaborate with senior accountants on audit preparation and compliance tasks
- Participate in client meetings to understand financial reporting needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Basic knowledge of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
