Responsibilities
- Perform monthly account reconciliations for bank statements, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
- Assist with preparation and analysis of financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flows)
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions and maintain vendor/client records
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
- Prepare financial reports for management review and client presentations
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/Oracle) for data entry and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
- Basic knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting cycles
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- QuickBooks or similar accounting software experience preferred
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
