Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing processes including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP standards
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and maintain accurate ledgers
- Support internal audits and financial reporting requirements
- Process payroll and expense reports with meticulous attention to detail
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for data entry and financial analysis
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special projects and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- Basic knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting fundamentals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and QuickBooks
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- 0-2 years of internship or relevant accounting experience preferred
