Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Perform account reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor/client communications
- Conduct data entry in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) with 99% accuracy
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and analysis
- Prepare tax documents and assist with quarterly tax filings
- Participate in process improvement initiatives for accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (0-2 years experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, SUMIFS)
- Familiarity with GAAP principles and basic tax regulations
- QuickBooks or ERP system experience preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
