Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Assist with internal and external audit procedures to ensure regulatory compliance
- Manage general ledger operations and reconcile accounts monthly
- Process payroll and accounts payable/receivable transactions
- Contribute to tax preparation and documentation for corporate clients
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) for data entry and reporting
- Participate in client meetings to present financial findings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail with high accuracy in financial data handling
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Professional communication skills for client interactions
- 1-2 years of internship or academic accounting experience preferred
