Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable with precision and timeliness
- Assist in month-end closing procedures and reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements under GAAP guidelines
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and documentation
- Support internal audits and compliance initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on financial reporting
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/Oracle) for data management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (3.0+ GPA preferred)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or relevant experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
- Knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting cycles
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- QuickBooks or ERP system experience preferred
- CPA candidacy or willingness to pursue certification
