Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets and income statements
- Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and subsidiary ledgers
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions and maintain vendor/client records
- Assist in month-end closing procedures and audit documentation preparation
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes with data analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting initiatives
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) for transaction processing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables) and accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial controls
- Detail-oriented approach with high accuracy in numerical analysis
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- QuickBooks certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months
