Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile accounts payable/receivable transactions daily
- Assist with monthly closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Perform bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Support audit preparation and documentation requests
- Implement process improvements using Excel macros and automation
- Train on SAP and Oracle financial modules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA candidates preferred)
- 0-2 years experience including internships
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- QuickBooks certification or equivalent experience
- Strong GAAP knowledge and attention to detail
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines during tax season
