In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, bookkeeping, and data analysis. You will work closely with senior accountants to ensure accuracy in our financial records and support the smooth operation of our accounting department.
Responsibilities
- General Ledger Support: Assist in the maintenance and reconciliation of general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, verify expenses, and manage the accounts payable and receivable cycles efficiently.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Compliance: Maintain organized financial documentation and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve data accuracy.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups). Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
