Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Support accounts payable/receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment verification
- Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger records
- Participate in audits and compliance reviews to ensure regulatory adherence
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) for data entry and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0-2 years of accounting experience or relevant internship
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and accounting standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA candidate) preferred but not required
