Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Perform account reconciliations for general ledger accounts, bank statements, and subsidiary ledgers
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and accruals
- Support accounts payable and receivable functions including invoice processing and payment verification
- Contribute to internal audit procedures and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
- Participate in financial forecasting and budgeting activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting discrepancies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and basic accounting concepts
- Exceptional attention to detail with high accuracy in data entry and analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
