Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records and general ledgers.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger account analysis.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes under the guidance of senior staff.
- Prepare basic financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist in the auditing process and ensure compliance with internal financial policies.
- Respond to vendor and client inquiries regarding account status and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
