Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable and perform monthly reconciliations
- Assist with financial statement preparation and month-end closing procedures
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and supporting documentation
- Conduct basic data entry in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Support audit preparations and regulatory compliance tasks
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special projects
- Adhere to GAAP standards and internal control protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or professional experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- CPA candidacy preferred but not required
