In this role, you will work closely with our senior accounting team to maintain financial records, assist with audits, and support our clients with day-to-day financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monthly close procedures under supervision.
- Process payroll entries and manage expense reports accurately.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and supporting schedules.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize data, create spreadsheets, and generate reports.
- Communicate with clients regarding account inquiries and documentation requests.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
- No prior professional accounting experience required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
- Basic understanding of math and accounting principles (training provided).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills.
