Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, accounts receivable/payable, and general ledger accounts
- Assist with monthly and quarterly closing processes ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Support audit preparations by gathering documentation and responding to inquiries
- Process payroll transactions and maintain employee records in compliance with regulations
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for transaction recording, data analysis, and report generation
- Contribute to budgeting processes and variance analysis for client portfolios
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting cycles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and QuickBooks Online
- Strong attention to detail with ability to identify discrepancies in financial data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- 1-2 years internship or part-time accounting experience preferred
