Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for internal and external stakeholders
- Support accounts payable/receivable processes and maintain accurate ledgers
- Conduct audits of financial transactions to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special projects and financial forecasting
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial systems
- Respond to client inquiries regarding account balances and transactions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
