Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile monthly financial statements
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable processing and expense reporting
- Prepare draft financial statements and supporting documentation
- Conduct account reconciliations for bank, credit card, and vendor accounts
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Collaborate with senior accountants on client engagements and special projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0-2 years of professional accounting experience (internships accepted)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks software
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and accounting cycles
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Florida driver's license (for occasional client site visits)
- Basic knowledge of tax preparation (preferred but not required)
