Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Assist in monthly and quarterly closing processes ensuring timely completion
- Support audit preparation by organizing financial documentation and schedules
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend improvements
- Utilize QuickBooks and accounting software for transaction processing
- Contribute to client financial reporting and tax documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged)
- Basic knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting cycles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel required)
- QuickBooks or similar accounting software experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
