Responsibilities
- Perform monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable processing and invoice verification
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules under supervision
- Contribute to audit fieldwork including documentation and testing
- Update and maintain accounting databases with precision
- Support tax preparation tasks including data gathering and form completion
- Participate in process improvement initiatives for financial workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas)
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Basic knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
