Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions with precision and timeliness
- Assist in month-end closing procedures including reconciliation of accounts
- Prepare financial statements and supporting documentation for client reviews
- Maintain accurate digital and physical financial records using QuickBooks and Excel
- Support audit preparation by gathering documentation and responding to inquiries
- Collaborate with senior accountants to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance department
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic functions, formulas, and data entry)
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and accounting terminology
