Responsibilities
- Perform monthly bookkeeping and reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger entries
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable processing and invoice verification
- Prepare financial statements (balance sheets, income statements) under supervision
- Support tax preparation activities including data collection and form completion
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for financial data analysis and reporting
- Conduct account research and resolve discrepancies in financial records
- Adhere to GAAP standards and internal control procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (0-2 years experience)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and accounting software
- Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles
