Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing and data entry.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and general ledger account analysis.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, trial balances, and reports.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance documentation.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) to record and track transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles (GAAP) is a plus but not required.
- High level of attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
