As part of our Finance department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial health and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will work closely with senior accountants to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, verify payments, and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
- Month-End Close Support: Help prepare journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and support the month-end close process.
- Bank Reconciliation: Review bank statements and credit card transactions to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and summaries for management review.
- Document Management: Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems, including tax documents and contracts.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities adhere to company policies and applicable GAAP regulations.
- General Support: Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience, or an internship in accounting preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (GAAP).
- Attributes: Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
