Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Process accounts payable/receivable and maintain general ledger accuracy
- Prepare financial statements and compliance documentation for audits
- Support tax preparation and filing processes under senior supervision
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for transaction recording and analysis
- Conduct variance analysis and assist with budget forecasting
- Document financial processes and implement internal controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial regulations
- Detail-oriented with exceptional numerical accuracy skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
