Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions and maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with monthly and quarterly account reconciliations and journal entries
- Support preparation of financial statements and regulatory compliance reports
- Conduct data entry in accounting systems (QuickBooks/ERP)
- Participate in audits by providing documentation and analysis
- Collaborate with tax preparation teams during filing seasons
- Monitor financial metrics and identify discrepancies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Knowledge of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication and teamwork capabilities
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
