Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Perform basic financial analysis and assist in month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Organize and file financial documents and supporting schedules.
- Support the accounting department with data entry and system maintenance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
