Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks including data entry and transaction recording
- Support month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Process accounts payable and receivable with attention to detail
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with tax documentation preparation and filing support
- Contribute to internal audits and compliance reviews
- Learn and apply accounting software systems (QuickBooks, Excel)
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special financial projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred) OR equivalent experience
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial terminology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, data entry)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to learn new software and processes quickly
- Clear communication skills and team-oriented mindset
