Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions and maintain general ledger accuracy
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation
- Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations
- Support audit preparation and documentation requests
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite) for transaction processing
- Contribute to expense reporting and budget tracking initiatives
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication and teamwork capabilities
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
