Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Assist with monthly closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Support audit engagements by maintaining organized financial documentation
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for transaction recording and analysis
- Adhere to GAAP standards and internal control protocols
- Contribute to client bookkeeping and payroll processing
- Participate in quarterly budget variance analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks
- CPA candidate or willingness to pursue certification
