Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including balance sheets and income statements
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions while ensuring compliance with GAAP
- Support tax preparation and filing activities for individual and corporate clients
- Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow management
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) to maintain digital financial records
- Collaborate with senior accountants on audit preparation and documentation
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs)
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP)
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and regulatory compliance
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
