Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions and reconcile bank accounts
- Support audit preparation and documentation requests
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Excel
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Collaborate with senior accountants on client deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel essential)
- QuickBooks certification or equivalent software experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Texas residency required (El Paso candidates preferred)
