Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and supporting documentation for client portfolios
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions with meticulous attention to detail
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis for client accounts
- Support audit preparations by gathering documentation and schedules
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) for transaction processing
- Adhere to SOX compliance standards and internal controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (2023-2024 graduates encouraged)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or part-time experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- QuickBooks or Xero experience preferred
