Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable processing
- Prepare and reconcile financial statements and reports
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Manage digital filing systems for financial documents
- Collaborate with senior accountants on tax preparation tasks
- Conduct data entry and maintain accurate financial records
- Participate in internal audits and compliance checks
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Willingness to pursue CPA certification (company-sponsored training available)
