Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile monthly financial transactions using QuickBooks and Excel
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable cycles and bank reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and management reports under supervision
- Support tax preparation and compliance documentation for SMB clients
- Conduct data analysis to identify financial trends and discrepancies
- Collaborate with senior accountants on client deliverables and deadlines
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial record systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and QuickBooks
- Strong analytical skills with attention to numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
