Responsibilities
- Perform month-end closing procedures including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions with 99% accuracy
- Assist in preparation of financial statements and regulatory compliance reports
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Support annual audits by organizing documentation and schedules
- Collaborate with tax department on sales tax filings and payroll processing
- Implement process improvements for accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (graduates with 0-2 years experience encouraged)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Understanding of GAAP principles and basic tax regulations
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred)
- Professional certification (CPA candidate) a plus
