Responsibilities
- Perform monthly bookkeeping and reconciliations for client accounts
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance filings
- Prepare financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow tracking
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for data entry and reporting
- Support audits by providing documentation and supporting schedules
- Collaborate with senior accountants on client deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (recent graduates welcome)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks software
- Strong attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant internship or coursework experience preferred
