Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable processing and bank reconciliations
- Support tax preparation activities for individual and business clients
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records using QuickBooks and Sage software
- Collaborate with senior accountants on client consultations and financial planning sessions
- Participate in quarterly business reviews and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP standards
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to numerical accuracy
