Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flows)
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and vendor communications
- Support audit preparations and tax documentation processes
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Participate in client meetings to explain financial data and recommendations
- Implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (2023-2024 graduates encouraged)
- Basic knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting cycles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables) and QuickBooks
- Strong attention to detail with 10-key and data entry accuracy
- Excellent verbal/written communication and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
- Proactive problem-solving approach and eagerness to learn new systems
