Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions with 100% accuracy
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger records
- Support tax filing documentation and compliance audits
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for data entry and analysis
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special financial projects
- Implement internal controls to ensure data integrity
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent coursework)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with basic formula knowledge
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical precision
- Strong organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- QuickBooks proficiency or willingness to learn
- Valid Arizona driver's license (required for occasional client visits)
