Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable processing and reconciliation
- Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records
- Support month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Process payroll data and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for data entry and analysis
- Conduct bank reconciliations and identify discrepancies
- Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation
- Learn and apply accounting principles under supervision
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
